Position Description

Job title: RN - ICU
Location: Warren, MI
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 07:00pm - 07:30am
Pay rate: $45/hr - $50/hr

Duties:
Job Summary:
Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

Skills:
Required Skills & Experience:
-Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned.
-Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
-Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Schedule Notes:
MUST HAVE 2 years of experience in specialty areas. MUST HAVE BLS, ACLS MUST HAVE basic dysrhythmia testing competency Must be willing to float between ICU and stepdown This is a float assignment with daily staffing adjustments every 4hrs, with potential to be pulled to a new assignment in 4hr blocks of time 6 week schedules
