Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Henry Ford Rochester Hospital, Rochester, Michigan

Job Summary: Henry Ford Rochester Hospital is seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse to lead in coordinating and delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care. The role involves utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, alongside delegation, supervision, documentation, and patient/family education. The RN will collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to address patient variances and implement solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong clinical knowledge and analytical abilities for effective nursing care planning.
• Ability to provide a wide variety of professional nursing services in a fast-paced ICU environment.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare personnel.
  
  

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Knowledge of Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) (preferred).
  
  

Education & Certifications:

Required Education

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  
  

Preferred Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) (preferred).
  
  

Required Licensure & Certifications

• Current Michigan State Board of Nursing license (active).
• BLS & ACLS certifications (mandatory).
  
  

Schedule Details:

• Start Date: June 24, 2025
• Estimated End Date: September 20, 2025
• Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Hours Per Day: 12-hour shifts
• Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (3x12s)
• Ratio: 2:1
• Scheduling Requirements:
• Must be available for at least one holiday during contract.
• Every other weekend is required.
• One week of Requested Time Off (RTO) allowed.

Additional Notes:

• Cerner EMR experience: Minimum of 1 year required.
• No Call Requirement.
