This abstract call is for the 2024 MNPD Conference – Catalysts for Change: Nurturing Leadership for Impactful Practice. The conference call for abstracts opens May 22, 2024 and closes Sunday June 30, at 11:59 p.m. ET. For each abstract submitted, presenters will be notified by electronic communication of their acceptance status by July 22, 2024.
You are invited to submit abstract(s) for an oral podium or poster presentation. Abstract submission is open to all submitters to share:
- Exemplars of ways in which individuals and teams have “put on the hat” of the NPD roles (leader, change agent, champion of inquiry, advocate for NPD specialty) within their organizations to expand their organizational impact.
- Sharing of best practices for each role (leader, change agent, champion of inquiry, advocate for NPD specialty).
- Opportunities to apply these roles (leader, change agent, champion of inquiry, advocate for NPD specialty) to advance toward top-of-scope practice in the NPD specialty.
Abstract submission should relate to conference theme and/or goal.
Conference Theme, Goal, and Objectives:
Theme - Catalysts for Change: Nurturing Leadership for Impactful Practice
Overarching Goal: Enhancing the organizational impact of NPD practice through the NPD roles of leadership, change agent, champion for inquiry and advocate for NPD Specialty.
Objective 1: NPD practitioners will apply, analyze and evaluate: the concepts & relevance of the NPD Roles of Change Agent, Leader, Champion for Inquiry, and Advocate for the NPD Specialty to their current NPD Practice.
Objective 2: Identify at least one strategy to leverage roles to advance toward top-of-scope practice as NPD practitioners.
